"The Surprise"

As some of you know and some of you don't it was Mr. Moss birthday on Aug 24Th! It was his golden birthday. Mrs. Moss wanted to do something special for her husband. Needless to say she didn't give herself a lot of time to plan what she had in mind. She decided to through a surprise birthday party for her husband! When she had thought of this idea, she realized that she only gave herself five days. O boy again what was she thinking God! To start it off she told her husband she needed his cell phone for a number she had needed, that was true. Well in the mean time she took a few more numbers that she needed for the guests she was planning to invite. Over the weekend she waiting for the reply back to see who was able to come and who wasn't. Then God blessed, her husband's boss offered to bring steak for the party. We conversed and had a plan on its way. Now once we got back into ND because her husband wanted to go back to Mn for the weekend Mrs. Moss had to go get supplies for the party. Her husband happen to call her on her way to town, she couldn't lie to him. So she told him that she was going to town to get her driver license switch over to a ND one which was true. Until she forgot the papers she needed to change it. Once she got back from town she was planning to make all the food and hide the cake at her faith friend's house. Mr. Moss planned to come home early than normal. So Mrs. Moss refrained from cooking to cleaning. Which was not unusually for her. But to hide all the supplies she had to hide things throughout the house where she knows Mr. Moss wouldn't look. So the new folding table went under the spare bed, the pop went in the spare room as well, the food that didn't need to be refeg went to the basement, the ice cream well she just told her husband that she was sick of buying little ice creams and bought a big supply of it. Which work to her surprise. The big day..... with God's blessing she made two cakes, three lbs of pasta salad, mowed the lawn (bad idea but needed to be done), decorating, and assembled the lights and balloons with some assistants from a dear friend. Mrs. Moss wasn't sure if she would have enough food for everyone so she prayed to God to bless the food as Jesus did with the fish and bread. God can do great things with faith in him......to keep Mr. Moss away until everyone had arrived Mrs. Moss conversed between his boss and a co-worker to make sure he didn't arrive until 6ish. Thou there was some difficulty with Mrs. Moss cooking the food between the butter exploding in the microwave, the blender not working, and the lawn mower not starting with a little pray God blessed Mrs. Moss with a half in hour to spare. Thanking God for not letting her burning anything. So as any women would do for her husband she got ready for the big moment. Her husband arrived and she had her faithful friend tape the reaction that he had for his party. (above)
